Over the Counter Dangers

Cold and Flu Season is Here…..

Be aware that the cure is often more dangerous than the illness

Over the counter cold remedies can be DANGEROUS. The FDA has issued a health advisory on all drugs containing PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE. These drugs are still on the shelves and are being recalled. The FDA has left it up to the manufacturer to reformulate. They have not all been reformulated. Do not put your family at risk. Please be aware that you should STOP TAKING anything containing this ingredient. It has been linked to increased hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in brain) among women ages 18-49 in the three days after starting use
of medication. Problems were not found in men, but the FDA recommended that everyone (especially children) seek alternative medicine.

You may want to try calling the 800 number listed on most
drug boxes and inquire about a REFUND.
